Consumer challenges in decarbonising energy

Most of us only think of energy in terms of how much it costs. But if we want to decarbonise our energy supply, make the best use of renewables, and ensure everyone has the power they need, when they need it - that will have to change. The whole energy system is going to have to become a lot smarter and more proactive about how energy is generated, distributed, stored, and used. And we as consumers, and the devices in our homes, are going to have to get involved.
